Edit PDF Text Without Changing the Font
Fix a typo, a wrong date or an old amount directly in the PDF. Click the line, type the correction, and SignPDF writes it in the font the document already uses, so nobody can tell it was edited. The old words are removed from the file, not covered with a white box.

Why SignPDF
Built for documents that matter
Same font, same look
Edits reuse the font embedded in the PDF, at the same size, color and position.
Old text really removed
Replaced and deleted words are taken out of the file, so they can’t be copied or found by search.
Smart font matching
If the PDF’s font lacks a letter you type, that word uses an identical or same-width font, such as Carlito for Calibri, and you’re told first.
Undo and change history
Every edit is listed, can be highlighted on the page, and can be undone or redone.
Good to know
- Editing works line by line; long paragraphs don’t reflow when a line gets longer.
- Scanned documents are images, so their text can’t be edited. You can still add text on top or redact parts of them.
- Languages that need connected letters, such as Arabic, can’t be typed into a PDF yet.
